Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his role in the well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Since his college days, Meloni was interested in acting. Then he studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has been in films and television, but it was his smaller-screen roles that brought him fame and an extensive fan base. He's been able effortlessly play roles of characters who are from both sides of law, and captivate the viewers' interest. When he first appeared on television, for his debut show, he was the role of a serial killer. In later projects, he was the character of an NYPD investigator. Numerous times, he was nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. His signature piercing, blue eyes which can be said to help the actor look gorgeous. They've helped him portray tough characters in a charming manner. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
