Selena Gomez has a worldwide name as an actor and a singer. One of the shows she has participated in and has enjoyed the most success was the Disney series he Wizards of Waverly Place. The full title of her name is Selena Marie Gomez. Her birth date was the 22nd of July 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Her mother was barely 16 at the time Selena was born. At the age of 9, Selena landed her first job on the stage by playing Gianna on Barney and her Friends. This meant she was among numerous children who played alongside Barney, the well-known Pink Dinosaur, an anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena contributed to several episodes in seasons 7 and 8. The time period was 2001 to 2003. Selena wasn't the only performer who appeared in Barney and his Friends during that time. Demi Loveto also worked with the show. Selena Gomez tried out for various roles following the departure of Barney and Friends but was not successful. The role she was offered was a minor one in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over) as well as another role similar to Julie as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire.
