Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. She was best known as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at the Preparatory School she attended before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for a number of years before trying out for film and TV parts. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, a four-part audio series that was released in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on his relationship with Skyler can be seen in the series.
