Kirsten Simone Vangsness, an American actress and playwright who became famous after appearing as 'Penelope Garcia' in the crime procedural police drama series, 'Criminal minds'. Kirsten Vangsness appeared as Penelope Garcia in the tv series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, and in its two spin-offs, including Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour. Though she's mostly acting on TV shows but she also has played small parts in movies since her debut in the television show business in the year 1998. Alongside her notable movie roles, Ms. Williams has also appeared in films such as "In My Dreams", The Chicago 8, and Kill Me, Deadly. Apart from writing pieces for the 'The Los Angeles Times', she is also a co-writer of three episodes for Criminal Minds. She rescues, rehabilitates as well as adopts injured or abandoned animals.
